Our Mission is to inspire the next generation of innovators by providing high quality STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) education through fun, hands-on projects.

Najam
Najam is a compelling and thought provoking educator. He has had a passion for science and technology education and mentoring young people. A physicist and a software engineer, he spent over a decade in Artificial Intelligence Laboratories in the USA. In recent years, Najam has become a STEM content expert, designing and creating many of the unique learning activities that YEW provides. His special interest in Cognitive Science informs his teaching practices. Young Engineers Workshop is culmination of one of his long held dreams.
Susan
Susan has a passion for sparking young minds. She graduated from Lewis and Clark College summa cum laude and with departmental honors with a degree in economics. She has been an educator, a researcher and a legislative advocate for education. Young Engineers Workshop is the next evolution of this pursuit. Susan teaches YEW classes as well as manages the business and admissions processes for YEW.
This man is passionate about education - he inspires and teaches in equal measures. I highly recommend!
